Progressive Chinese?

Amazing. Even the Chinese are getting ahead of us on this one. If just Target and Wal-Mart would get on-board, the impact would be huge. Thoughts on how to make that happen?

Change For the Health of It

Humans choose. And choices have unforeseen consequences. We live within a web of complex systems: climate, human biology, agriculture, the global economy, culture, and politics, to name a few. But we rarely understand how these work and when faced with choices that have short-term and long-term tradeoffs, we almost always make decisions that maximize pleasure and minimize pain in the here-and-now. And at this point in history, we are paying a high price for that predilection.

We can’t get better health or sustain life on our planet if we don’t make better decisions. And for most of us, better decisions will require embracing new ideas, adopting a more complex worldview, practicing new behaviors, and engaging with our communities. Plenty of discomfort comes with that. This blog explores the challenges we’ll face if we are serious about committing to a healthful future for ourselves, our families, our communities, and our planet. If we succeed, together we can bring Change … for the health of it.
